My life has taken a few unpredictable twists & turns during the past 30 years since our days at Woodlawn SHS. Upon graduation in 1973, I attended Harvard College, initially majoring in math, then ultimately receiving a bachelor's degree in psychology & social relations. Don't ask how that led me to a four-year stint as a banker in NYC - it's too long a story, but I apparently had found my niche, as I am still a banker to this day.

In 1981, I moved to California where life seemed (and has proven to be) kinder & gentler than on the East Coast. Met my future (and now ex-) husband in 1983 on a blind date, which led to marriage & two wonderful children.

It also led me to an extended, informal education in the wine industry thanks to my husband's career as a winemaker. And, ultimately, to my own highly fulfilling career as a banker to the wine industry, working with clients I love, whose products I enjoy tremendously (ultra-premium wines from Napa/Sonoma), representing a bank that appeals to my entrepreneurial side.

While my career was flourishing, however, my marriage was failing. In 1999, we finally acknowledged that our marriage needed to end. I consider myself extremely fortunate, however, to have married someone I consider a friend and for whom I have tremendous respect. So we are on very amicable terms and have chosen to live just a few minutes from each other in order to provide our girls with a family environment while still maintaining our "neutral corners" (as my daughter puts it).

Our girls appear to be flourishing, and post-divorce are now attending excellent schools closer to San Francisco rather than mediocre ones where we used to live in the Wine Country. Both girls are active in sports, with the older one a standout player in both basketball and soccer in her high school.

In the meantime, I keep myself very busy between children, work and a few outside interests. I continue my love of theater, nourished at Woodlawn SHS where I performed in many school productions, by maintaining subscriptions to two different professional theater companies (at one of which I saw Scott Wentworth of our class performing in a featured role a few years ago!). The only other fellow classmate with whom I have stayed in contact is Paula Selis, who visited me during late 2001.
